When your couples are up for dancing and piggybacks on their engagement shoot, then you know you’re in for a fun afternoon!
Farhaa and Fed, are a super cool and very glam couple and I’m so looking forward to shooting their wedding in July at Ariana Garden’s in Essex.
We decided to meet at their venue to have a recce for locations, so we can get some awesome couple and group shots on their wedding day. Farhaa & Ferds were both total naturals and I loved capturing the chemistry between them. We then moved on to a local park, which had some lovely trees, and great spots to take pictures, (Farhaa shares my love of trees too!)
So now on to why I think engagement/ pre-wedding shoots are so good… About 90% of my couples hate having their photo taken, and find the thought of it a bit daunting. To be fair I hate it too, BUT, It really doesn’t have to be that way, and my approach is to gently pose, but in a fun and natural way. This I get to capture all those lovely natural reactions 🙂
Engagement shoots are always a great way to find out what poses work for you as a couple, so when it comes to your big day, you will naturally fall into them, without feeling a bit nervous of how to pose.
They are also a good opportunity to get to know your photographer, and find out a little about how they work, and a chance to ask questions.
I usually suggest to tie in your engagement shoot with your pre-wedding meet up, that way we can chat, while I make you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
If you would like to arrange a chat then please do get in touch. I would love to hear all about your wedding plans 🙂
