I have really fond childhood memories of Moors Country Valley Park, on the Hampshire, Dorset boarder. It’s always so special taking my children there, as I remember the excitement I had as a child exploring all the wooden trails and running around the woodland. There’s so much to do there and the mini steam train is always a hit!
I always try and bring my camera with me for two reasons. One as testing out lighting on my kids is a great way to get used to all sorts of lighting scenarios without out any pressure. And two because I want to make sure I capture the memories from a family outing. Before I know it, they will become stroppy tanagers and not want there photo taken (a bit like my 12 year old Harry!).
This place is so awesome to get all those dramatic forest tree shots and as I’m a huge lover of forests, I’m well and truly in my element. Nothing beats the beautiful winter light shining through the trees.
Saying this, as much as I am a winter girl, I am looking forward to long summer days and picnics at all the amazing country parks nearby!
