There are a lot of ways to describe the type of style in the wedding photography industry in one word, and I’m sure you’ve heard; documentary, reportage, modern and so on.
This is why I’m going to make it simple for you and describe my style…
Most of the day, I’m literally there to document and take a hands off approach.
I want to capture beautiful moments like your mum or dad seeing you in your wedding dress for the first time, your husband to be first sets eyes on you, and the emotion of that moment you officially become husband and wife.
I like to keep it as natural as possible and the only time I will pose shots, is during your group and couple portraits. These won’t be heavily posed, I will just make sure I put you in awesome light and a pretty spot, then gently prompt you to get natural interaction.
You LOVE being in the moment and aren’t fussed about a perfectly staged photo. If I am spending a good half an hour putting your wedding shoes in the perfect spot, or finding a tree to hang your wedding dress on, then it’s likely I’m going to miss some beautiful moment between you and your bridesmaids, or mum.
You value photography and want a wedding photographer there to tell your story as naturally as possible.
You want to have FUN, sod the weather, if it rains, it rains. You’re not afraid to go out in it and get your dress dirty.
Your wedding is small (less than 100), ideally outdoors, or a venue you can personalise.
You love deep toned, grainy emotional images. As much as clean, light, very polished looking images are awesome for some, it’s not my style.
Is this you?
If this sounds like you, and you think we’re a perfect match, then yay. Please get in touch, I want to hear all about your story 🙂 x
