The Basing Rooms

Eeeeek, slightly nervous as this was my second wedding on my own, BUT, as soon as I picked up the camera, the nerves soon vanished! I had a great afternoon spent with Jane and Simon for their low-key Winchester wedding.
The afternoon started with the ceremony at the Basing rooms, in Winchester’s registry office, followed by a laid back marquee and BBQ at, Winchester Cathedral’s Refectory.
Jane and Simon were incredibly relaxed on the day and had a small intimate ceremony. It was lovely to see the children running around, lots of tears and plenty of laughter at their beautiful ceremony. I really enjoying capturing these natural moments.
Thankfully, the wet forecast held out until we got to the marquee, (how lucky was that!) and there was a quick break in the rain, so we were able to get a few couple shots in the refectory’s walled garden.
Congratulations Jane & Simon and thank you for letting me apart of your special day x
