In truth, her services were outside our budget. However, we just pulled the trigger anyway. This is a once in a lifetime moment and Emily’s work illustrated the exact style of romantic, moody vibes we wanted. Photography is all you have left when the day is done to remember the genesis of your day. It was crucial we entrusted this to a true professional and Emily didn’t disappoint! We just received our full gallery from our day and couldn’t be happier with the quality of her work. From day 1 communications, to planning out the day, same day itinerary modifications, to seeing the full gallery, Emily has been a true professional! We continue to be blown away by her work and reminded often of how happy we are to have chosen her! While we had a plan for the day, we sort of scratched it and gave Emily full creative control. From the ceremony site and other short stops for photography, we just put ourselves in her capable hands and have no regrets. This was the best decision ever. This choice was a credit to both her preexisting portfolio, which gave us peace of mind she’d create something special no matter what…as well as her disarming demeanor and passionate work ethic. When we say she worked HARD on our special day, she worked HARD. Whatever it took to get the shot for us! Emily was always there. She helped us feel comfortable to just be ourselves and that is so important. We now consider her family. Please feel completely at ease with choosing Emily for your special day! We will cherish her work forever!

Choosing Emily as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our Iceland elopement. Emily’s relaxed personality perfectly aligned with our vibe. It was an incredibly easy choice once we saw her extraordinary work. The emotion she is able to capture felt like it would have been impossible for us to be seen in this way, but Emily made it so easy and we could not have been happier with the results. We have received so many comments about how amazing her photos are, and it absolutely speaks to Emily as a photographer and artist. You can feel the story in every photograph, and we instantly feel transported back. Her guidance through finding the locations allowed us to have a beautifully quiet ceremony, alongside finding some of the most stunning spots for us to be photographed in. She even had recommendations on where to stop for hot chocolate throughout the day. Emily is incredibly kind, patient and compassionate. At our last location, the weather took a turn for the worse with torrential downpour and wind, but Emily’s enthusiasm and creativity allowed us to enjoy the unpredictable Iceland weather, and the photos of us embracing the wind and rain are amongst our favourites from the day

If you've seen her work, you already know how good it is. The color grading, the moodiness, the magical lighting ... it's grounded and otherworldly all at once. Both we and all the guests and friends that have seen some of the shots from our ceremony were awestruck. What you may not know is what it's like to have Emily on your wedding/elopement team. For us, she was more than a photographer ... she was a local guide, selecting literally the most perfect spot on earth to hold the small ceremony that included 13 people, a place without spectators or tourists, and a mini-adventure for our guests; we would never have known it existed without her. She had a calming, pleasant and kind low-key presence that calmed our nerves and allowed us to be ourselves ... we didn't want overly posed pictures or wooden moments; we were after candid and intimate and a little wild, and above all a stress free wedding and she absolutely understood the assignment. She had an eye for the little moments and interactions that I might not even remember were it not for her being there to capture them. Thinking back on it, I'm not sure our vision for our ceremony would have come together at all, much less how magically it did, had it not been for Emily. A few things on her professionalism as well: She arranged the meeting spot and was on site well before we were. She was flexible with time and the "flow" of the day. She refused alcohol during the reception afterwords despite repeated offers (I would not at all have minded if she had a drink, but I respected her for declining). We had a preview link in our emails the next morning. Within 3 weeks, we had a slideshow and the final gallery was uploaded. Cannot recommend enough.

My husband and I made the decision to elope to Iceland for an intimate wedding -- the two of us, a photographer, videographer, and officiant (for the ceremony portion). I put so much time into carefully choosing the two humans to share our special day with. Eloping to Iceland and hiring Emily as our photographer (and our videographer Martin) were the best decisions we could have made. Our wedding was unequivocally the BEST, most magical, day of our lives. Emily's talents and her capacity to capture all of the emotions and everything in between makes her work worth sooo much more than a thousand words. On top of this, Emily is such a pure, kind, and soothing spirit -- really just a true joy to be around. We are so happy to have made these memories with her. The video that was included in our package was such a special addition. I had showed our friends we were with after receiving, and could never have expected the waterworks that were happening in the room.. seriously!! It created such a special moment outside of our wedding day that I'll cherish forever. To watch our friends reactions and experience how moving her work really is, how emotionally captivating it is to even those that weren't there to experience the day, was magic. It's through Emily's talents that so much of our family who 'didn't get it' when we chose to elope, had that 'aha' moment hit them to their core. And, just like us, share our story, these photos, and the magic that exists in an Iceland elopement to pretty much anyone who'll listen! Having Emily as our photographer was one of the highlights of our big day. She was incredibly accommodating. She offered to drive us to each photo location, helped me zip my dress and even let me borrow her jacket when the wind picked up between photos. Emily is a down to earth person with skill that is out of this world. Our photos are GORGEOUS. Her moody, romantic style is exactly what we were looking for. I only decided on the Wedding date once I found Emily.... I decided on our wedding date after stumbling upon Emily on instagram. To be honest, I was in a world of trying to choose which style I wanted for our day, and I had no ideas about where to have it. When I saw Emily's beautiful work, artistic, romantic, and just stunning – I knew that her photography was exactly what we needed to capture our connection and the day itself. Working with Emily was a dream. She found us the most stunning ceremony location, away from the crowds even during the high season on Skye. She took the time to really connect with us and our small group, seamlessly fitting into the day start to finish. While we we're initially worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, Emily made it so comfortable and easy. I can’t entirely explain how perfectly Emily captured our day. Looking at the photos has the overwhelming feeling and vibe of the day itself. Our first chat was easy and comfortable and just clicked. Emily felt like a friend from the very first message. No question was too silly ir trouble for her. Even though she had probably heard it a thousand times before. When Emily turned up on our wedding day it really felt like we were meeting an old friend. She was such a trooper and drove us around the island in quite horrific weather for May. How she managed to capture the most stunning pictures, especially on The Quiraing when it was torrential rain and gale force winds and no one could see a thing in front of them, I have no idea. An absolute professional and superwoman. I had a little emotional wobble and Emily was right there to comfort me and told me whatever I needed she was there. She even offered to go back the next day to The Quiraing to get the photos we never got. Which was amazing of both her and Chris our videographer. We can't thank her enough for all she done before the day, on the day and also to get us a preview and sideshow so quickly too. Genuinely the best elopement photographer you could ask for.

Emily captured our elopement on July on the Isle of Skye. She was the sweetest and made us feel so comfortable during our day. We clicked from the beginning and that made everything so smoothly. We had so much fun and the pictures turned out so beautiful. Every time I go through our album and the slide show I can relieve the moments, feel the emotions captured on every picture. Emily photographed our elopement ceremony on Inishmore in Nov. 2022. Beyond her dreamy, exquisite photography style, she is such an amazing person to work with. She kept such prompt communication with us before and after the ceremony and even helped us decide on a location and an officiant that fit our dream ceremony. The day of, she walked with us in the cold and rain for hours to capture our day and made us feel so comfortable even though we had never had professional photos taken before. Emily is one of the best photographers I could recommend to someone. Emily goes above and beyond what is expected of a wedding photographer. From the moment me and my partner booked her she welcomed us with open arms. We are fairly young and eloped without friends and family, she guided us through the marriage process recommending other vendors and humanist for our ceremony. Emily was the friend I needed her to be when I realised I was without friends and family on my wedding day and she stepped up for me! Everything she does for you she puts so much thought and care in to. I have not even touched one the photos yet. The photos were breath taking, i cried when I first saw them because she made me feel (and look) beautiful. I constantly get compliments that our pictures look like they are out of a fairy-tale. If you are on the fence about who to book Emily is your girl! You will NOT regret it!!!!

Emily captured our elopement on a beach close to our home, in the North-East of Scotland. We both can't express enough how absolutely lovely Emily is. Emily made us both feel at ease around having our photos taken, we were both a little nervous for this but immediately we felt relaxed. All our photos came out so dreamy and perfect. Emily was absolutely amazing! She helped us every step of the way from choosing a location for our photos, finding scenic opportunities during the shoot and even bringing us hand warmers to stay warm! She braved the cold Icelandic winds to give us the most amazing photos and was just incredibly kind and adventurous.
